Musiques de nuit (MDN) is an organization based in Le Rocher de Palmer cultural centre in Cenon, Bordeaux.
Besides cultural production, in partnership with local and international institutions the Rocher has evolved many programmes of practice and discovery of world cultures towards its audiences including: workshops, residencies, masterclasses, chats, “musical naps”, conferences, house concerts.
Those experiences of sharing demonstrate how unique and open to all this cultural center is.
240 students at Ademinho school and 26 teachers taking an active part in after school activities. More than one third of the pupils come from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

School aims to prepare pupils for their future life using their free time and putting families, friends, surrounding society and school staff in general helping pupils selecting their future jobs from a young age so that teen education is really complete, preventing school absence and premature abandon.

Through the after school activities they get the opportunity to enrich their cultural knowledge and get prepared to compete, in the future, when applying for a job.

VisMedNet is a private association of professionals working in Education, Youth and Employment, Media and Project Management. Now in its 5th year of operation VisMedNet has its own internship programme to help young people start up careers and its training programme for teachers, trainers, managers and youth leaders.

It has a team with more than 12 years of experience in cross border and multi partner projects. It is what made VisMedNet a constructive and positive player in its fields. Its engagement with young people is in various fields including mentoring, training, support and experimentation with media projects.
